Trelawney Fire and Security provides high quality video and audio door entry systems. Ranging from off-the-shelf boxed kits, to bespoke systems for multiple blocks incorporating hundreds of apartments, we use manufacturers that are widely recognised as market leaders in the UK.
We are able to supply, install, service and maintain a wide and comprehensive range of audio and video entry systems. In most domestic & commercial environments, entry systems allow you to control access to your premises without the need to face callers directly or to climb flights of stairs.
There are two basic types of entry system: Audio Entry Systems
Audio entry systems will allow you to speak to callers before you let them in, either by physically opening the door or by releasing the door from the convenience of a remote location via an electric release mechanism.
Video Entry Systems
Video entry systems provide the same features as audio systems but they will also display images of callers for increased security.
Both systems can be wired or they can use an IP network.
DDA – Compatible
We can offer a number of solutions to improve access for disabled persons. Our DDA entry panel range has been installed in many public and private buildings including hospitals, schools, government buildings, commercial and retail premises as well as numerous residential developments. Panel designs are based on our interpretation of the relevant requirements of the DDA. We are also able to offer high contrast, braille and tactile signage to complement our panel range. Panels can be manufactured, depending on your site requirements, to incorporate:
- Up to 10 call buttons, which can dial any landline or mobile number
- Dial to open facility allows opening of doors and gates via phone, with no call charge
- Access control feature for up to 250 users (dependent on SIM card used)
- Programmable either via SMS or dial in
- Diverts calls to a second number when the first is busy or not answered
- Automatic call facility keeps network connection constant even if the system is out of use for long periods of time
- Signal strength checking via SMS
GSM Door Entry System
These systems employ mobile phone technology to operate doors and automatic gates, the GSM range retains all of the normal features, in addition to the capacity for up to 250 built in access codes for the dial to open feature; allowing users to call the entry panel for access. The keypads are completely self-contained, requiring only an external power supply and antenna.
